A complete building renovation in 2014 brought this turreted corner lot Victorian fully into modern day living.
Presenting an exquisite 1,768 square foot bi-level condo in the heart of JP! Soaring ceilings and elaborate moulding set the scene of sophistication in this 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. The open plan of the first floor offers the ambiance of a central hearth gas fireplace, a dining space in the bay window surround, as well as built-in speakers and hardwood floors. Upscale features in the gourmet kitchen include Jenn-Air stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and mosaic tile backsplash. The primary bedroom with ensuite marble shower, a guest bath and second bedroom complete the main level. Venture downstairs to discover a spacious flex room perfect for a media room, home office, or a bedroom complete with an ensuite bath.
If being in a convenient location is important, 37 Forest Hills has a lot to offer here too! Franklin Park and its many majestic trails and greenspaces are close at hand. Less than a half mile away, there is Green Street Station to catch the MBTA’s Orange Line subway train, a Blue Bike hub, and access to the Southwest Corridor Park which has bike/foot paths extending to the Arboretum in one direction, and Copley Plaza downtown in the other. And just down the hill, along Washington Street, between Egleston Square and Forest Hills, a transformation is underway with dozens of newly developed (and developing) commercial spaces.
37 Forest Hills has versatility, convenience, and style, wrapped in an ornate and beautifully refurbished Victorian coat!

The Haven (in the Brewery Complex) - Fantastic dinner menu, deeply complex and delightful bar menu, a uber cool and diverse ambience with 4 uniquely different spaces inside and out. Best burger in JP hands down.
Ula Cafe & Bakery - Also in the Brewery Complex, Ula’s a tasty area staple with a breakfast sandwich that is the problem and the solution in every bite. So good.
Chilacates - The original spot for this now wildly successful local chain. Their torta sandwiches are otherworldly.
Evergreen Eatery & Cafe - Creative and tasty fusion in a family owned restaurant. Super for dining (inside and out) or just a stop for coffee on route to catch your train.
BMS Paper Supply (Grocery Market) - Once the best kept secret in JP, BMS was/is a warehouse style center offering all manner of food service related goods, including bulk items such as cheeses, legumes by the 5-10lb bags, frozen goods, pots and pans, to-go containers, etc. Now they’ve rounded out their service to include a deli counter, a whole produce section, and rows of dried goods at very reasonable prices. Still a bit of a secret, but not for anyone in the immediate neighborhood. Now you know. They don’t have a working webpage, so you’ll just have to check this one out IRL.
Video Underground Cafe (a.k.a. VU Cafe) - As they say, it’s Boston’s only cinema cafe. They have delicious coffee and should be on the radar of every nearby cinephile.
Brassica Kitchen - The best restaurant in JP? It’s up there. Their fried chicken is sinful.
Third Cliff Bakery - A reputable, mobile bakery now in its first brick and mortar location. People literally come for miles to line up for its fare, including a wildly creative croissant menu.
Midway Cafe - This place is legendary. One of Boston’s oldest and most consistently rocking music clubs, the Midway offers an array of musical bookings for all tastes, in an unpretentious space where all feel welcomed.
For Pizza we can’t pick just one: Same Old Place, Italian Pizza and Subs, Ideal. There are too many to list!
