Jamaica Plain – Brewery District

A sub-neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, the Brewery District is found between Washington Street, Boylston Street, Amory Street, and Green Street. It’s home to multiple breweries and very close to a few others. The location is also not far from the best attractions and dining options in Jamaica Plain.

A large portion of the real estate found in the Brewery District is found within The Brewery Lofts. These lofts are condos found in an older building from the 1890s. The building has been converted into lofts known as the American Brewery Lofts. Along with the lofts, the Brewery District is home to some very beautiful Victorian homes, such as the one found at 258 Amory Street. This home offers about 1,600 square feet and it’s known as Mansard Victorian single-family home.

Several other loft and condo properties are found throughout the area with units ranging from one to three bedrooms. It’s also not uncommon to find other multi-family and single-family homes for sale in the Brewery District of Jamaica Plain.

Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment in Brewery District

Of course, the main attractions in the Brewery District are the incredible breweries. Turtle Swamp Brewing is one of the newest choices, while the Samuel Adams Brewery is one of the most popular found here. Boston Beer Company is also located within the brewery district giving residents three incredible options to choose from.

Residents also gain easy access to some great dining options including The Dining Car and Bella Luna & The Milky Way. D&D Restaurants, Santias Bakery, and Exodus Bagels are also found nearby.

Most of the best shopping in Jamaica Plain is found outside the Brewery District. However, it’s close enough that residents can easily access the best shopping throughout the area.

While there aren’t many attractions in the Brewery District, other than the breweries, it’s not far from the very popular Franklin Park. In addition, many other major attractions in Jamaica Plain are just a short trip from the Brewery District.

The Jamaica Plain Brewery District may be a touch grittier than some of the other neighborhoods, but it’s still a great place to call home.
